Hello, this is my first posts. I recently just purchased my 07 vulcan 900 custom w/ 11k miles. Its been a great bike so far and i love it! I do have a couple of questions if anyone does care to answer. It would be greatly appreciated!

1) When i bought the bike, it didnt have front turn signals. Previous owner took them off. I bought this bike at a dealer, so they didnt have them. When i pointed out that it didnt have front turn signals, they offered to buy a pair of aftremarket and ship them to my house. Fast forward two weeks....., signals and mounting brackets come. These signal have a - wire and + wire only. thats it. two wires for each signal. I pulled the old factory turn signal connectors out from the headlight housing and i noticed they uses special connectors to connect the stock signals. I need to find thee connectors. Does anyone know what they are called and if so, give me a part # or link? Ive looked everywhere. I prefer not to splice into factor wiring if all possible. If yall have any better ideas, im all for them.

2) When looking for the fuse box, (which took much longer than it should've thanks to me not knowing my right or left ), i noticed some wires that didnt lead to nothing, just hanging there. can anyone recognize them and tell me what they do? thanks.

1) the two clear/yellowish female connectors that goes in the headlight housing

2) the two clear/yellowish femal connectors where the fron part of the seat connects. In between the batter and the gas tank. pretty close to where the gas tank bolts are.

3) Lastly, the single yellow wire coming the "huge" connector. btw..is this "huge" connector where i would plug a chip into? thanks.

Looking at my wiring diagram the FL indicator has green going into green, blk/y going into blk/y, and blue going into red/blue. FR indicator has green going into grey, blk/y going into blk/y, and blue going into red/blue. Both red/blues are connected and blk/y is ground of course. Grey & green are connected to rear indicators (same colours) and go to the turn switch. Red/black goes to ignition. I think you should be looking for green, grey and red/blue wires + the blk/y earth.

If you only have two wires you can hook up the front turn signals in the headlight bucket. There should be two plastic connectors with several wires out of them, one gray (right) and one black (left). They would be the connectors for the turn signals. An easy hookup would be to check the wires for each plug. One plug should have a gray wire in the wiring harness (right turn signal) and the other should have a green wire in it (left turn signal). You should be able to tap into those with the appropriate light's (+). The black and yellow wires in each plug would be the ground (-). The two empty spade connectors are for AUX, one (+) and one (-). The (+) is always hot. You can use the (-) to ground your turns signals by putting bullet connectors on each (-) wire then insert them in the (-) spade connector.

Hi, Did you ever get a real answer? I've seen the wiring connection on another forum for the front turn signals. The new signal has Black w/white stripe which goes to the gray wire on the bike. The signal black wire goes to the Black w/yellow stripe on the bike and the red from the new signal goes to the blue/red wire on the bike
