The bolt that holds the shifter to the bike broke last week.
Replacement has been pretty easy , but i have a question about the acorn nut.
The end of it was punched in, almost like someone took a flat head screw driver to it.
In the picture, 1/2 of the dome has already fallen off, but you can see that it was clearly impacted by something.
Is that a normal thing to do ? something to prevent the nut from backing out maybe?
