Did you attempt to get the stuff off the pipes with oven cleaner?

 

i already cleaned the pipes, im trying to prevent it from happening again

 

Just out of curiosity, what where you using for rain gear? I am going to go pick some stuff up this weekend. Was thinking of going to Cabelas, but not really sure.

 

Buy frogg toggs rain suit its the best. i also wore tour master boot covers. my riding partner turned me onto frogg toggs and i loved them. he is an iron butt rider and swears by them. Hollywood98

 

big enough to get them on but not so big they will catch a bunch of extra wind or water etc.
