PAIRS Delete Mod

I've had my bike for 8 years and up until late last year I was riding everyday until I recently bought a ute to drive to work.
It needed some TLC and over the Christmas holidays I spent a few days stripping down parts, cleaning, adjusting amd replacing things that were broken.
After going out for a ride again I noticed my 2Bros exhaust was back firing alot more than usual and the only thing I'd changed was removing my DIY baffle I'd fitted.

Last weekend I spent my Sunday doing more work on it. Major sevice including, new plugs, washed the DNA air filter, repaired the split MAF Sensor hose, fresh oil and filter.
While the air box was removed it also allowed me to do another mod I'd planned for a while. PAIRS delete.
In lamens terms, the PAIRS valve injects clean air directly from the air box into the exhaust. This is an emissions device that burns off any unburnt fuel in the muffler before going into atmosphere.
Normally this would go unnoticed in a stock muffler, but anyone that has a through exhaust would hear the loud burbling and backfiring.

Turns out the hoses had a pretty bad leak so it would have been taking in alot more fresh air into the exhaust creating alot of loud pops and bangs.
I made up a blanking plate, and fitted the special Plug made by Kawasaki Brad to avoid the ECU sending a fault code and check engine light.
Well what a huge difference that made! No only does the bike run a little better but the sound is amazing. I suspect the O2 sensor would have been getting false readings from taking in excessive fresh air.

Do we need to remove the hoses and plug the hole if we are installing the special Plug made by Kawasaki Brad.
If we do, do you know who makes a cover plate that fits the Vulcan S.. I didn't find one on kawasaki Brad's site. (I assume a cover for a Ninja 650 will work? Haven't looked for that yet) TIA
