Can anyone I.D. this 900??.....the guy said its 99% factory stock but I've never seen a 900 Classic with this colorway or the blacked out forks, motor and air cleaner cover. I've looked at it and its not an aftermarket paint job. It looks factory but I can't find another one online that duplicates it. Is this a homemade paint job or did Kawi offer this in 2007???

Yeah, I'm with you. I've seen it on the 1500/1600 especially the Mean Streak but never a 900. And I was the GM back 12 years ago at a Kawi dealership in Texas and I we serviced A LOT of 900's and I never ran across one like this. Let me reiterate though.....this ISN'T an aftermarket paint job. This is Obviously factory, that's why its throwing me.

Ok I see that now, still the only thing that comes up like that is the 2016. Here's the break down, did you run the VIN? Someone could have changed the tins.

The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic was available in Metallic Imperial Red/Metallic Graphite Gray for the 2016 model year. Other years featured different color schemes, such as Metallic Graphite Gray/Metallic Spark Black in 2017 and Metallic Matte Graphite Gray/Metallic Matte Carbon Gray in 2018 and 2019.

  • 2016: Metallic Imperial Red/Metallic Graphite Gray
  • 2017: Metallic Graphite Gray/Metallic Spark Black
  • 2018: Metallic Matte Graphite Gray/Metallic Matte Carbon Gray
  • 2019: Metallic Matte Graphite Gray/Metallic Matte Carbon Gray

The 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic (also known as the VN900 Classic) was available in the following four color options:
  • Candy Turquoise Blue
  • Candy Cardinal Red
  • Metallic Titanium
  • Ebony
These colors were part of Kawasaki's standard palette for that model year, emphasizing a classic cruiser aesthetic with rich, glossy finishes. Note that availability could vary slightly by region or dealer stock, but these were the factory options.

I have a 2017 Kawasaki VN900 Classic Special Edition with 2 tone Paintwork white/grey. I thought the 2 tone paintwork scheme was the only difference between the standard and special edition vn900 classic models.
