One of my first posts since joining a little while ago. I've been thinking of installing an air intake kit on a bike with stock exhaust and a recently installed FI2000r. Wondering what benefits I could have with installing one and what brand to go with. The main candidate seems to be a Kuryakyn Alley Cat.. comes up often in searches for this bike. I have heard of Thunder, Chuckster and BAK. If I was to go ahead with this idea, I wouldn't want it to interfere with my sitting position, nor generate a lot of additional noise (based on a recently read article). Hoping to get a little more power and responsiveness perhaps. I've looked some on this forum for related posts but haven't found much . Any links to past threads or current information would be very much appreciated!
