I have two V2K'S: both have the same tach both have 33 tooth pulley one has a 240/50/16 rear tire the other has 200/60/16 @ 2400 RPM both read 70 MPH

I'm running a 18 inch wheel with a 240x40x 18 no problems at all speed odometer is only of a couple mph

 

hi,the v2k has a transmission mounted speedo sensor so pulley and tyre changes has no effect on the revs to speedo reading.the speedo accuracy will change though.the sensor is mounted on the front pulley shaft.

 

from 32 to 33 tooth the rpm's are reduced 200 rpm @ 70 mph

 

But the 240/55R16 it fits to the stock swingarm ?
It's this an option ?

Yes it does it's your option I like 240/50/16

 

With the 240/55r16, Do you find yourself pushing a little harder in the curves 2k Fanatic or the same as with the stock tire? Just wondering.

 

My comparison 200/60/16 versus the 240/50/16 not 55 very slight difference.

The 60mm is 60% of the 200mm is wide =120mm tall ..55mm is 55% of the 240mm is wide =132mm tall ..50mm is 50% of 240mm =120 mm tall. Notice why 240 is a 50 to match 200/60 clearance.
Do you have room for 12mm more maybe go measure it add 12 mm to your rear 200/60/16 and have some body bounce up and down for clearance.
I never used or seen a 240/55 just 240/50/16.
After futher thought I lowered my bike 1 3/4 " donot have a clearence issue, I would think your 55 will be just find.
