I am trying to find out if, after I remove the ugly dirtbike piece from the rear of my VN900C will the spacing of the bolts be the same as on the larger Vulcans. I found a nice plate mount that fits the others. Thanks folks, I can always count on you.

larger Vulcans

doesn't someone know the distance on center between the bolts that hold the plate bracket/black plastic (on the vn900c) under the fender? thanks

Easiest way to clean that up is remove the reflector above the stock license plate bracket, then using the same holes that held the reflector ream them out very slightly and using the same holes move your stock licence plate mounting up and remount it in these holes. Technically you may have 1 less reflector on the back of the back than some states require but I've never had anybody questiojn this. It cleans up the appearance of the back of the bike and gets rid of that "dirt bike" look of the rear fender. I run a 200 rear tire along with this "free" mod and it really changes the overall appearance of the back of the bike. RIDE SAFE

plate relocation

Thanks Bob, I saw a plate bracket that incorporates the mounts for the signals. I figured it was possibly worth a try. It would clean it up even more. I thought someone would be able to give me the on center measurements from one of the larger Kawi's that it is a direct fit for. I'll post more if I make it happen. thanks
