Whining noise in engine1985VN750A

My VN750A has started making a quite loud whining noise which seems to be in the front of the motor. It is not the fan . It only started doing it a couple of days ago. The bike has done 146000 ks. ( About 90,000 miles) Can anyone suggest a cause please?

Need some help or advice

Hey all I'm new to this, but I have an 03 vulcan 750 and it's been out of commission for over 2 yrs. It seems to have issues starting and running without help. Once it starts the bike idles rough and if I try to run the idle below 1500 it stalls out. I've replaced the stator, rectifier, battery...
