Hi all,

I have a 2006 Vulcan 900 and I recently purchased and install the Baron BAK which did speed me up a bit, reduced the throttle delay and helped with the engine vibration at speed. It breathes noticeably easier as well.

I was curious though on others opinion, if you had to choose one or the other, would you go with an intake or aftermarket pipes first? I know there's the golden three, pipes, intake and fuel controller, but for those of us starting out, which is the best bang for our buck?

I am eyeing the V&H Slash Staggered and a fuel commander as well.

From what I understand. Pipes first. Then you need to add the fuel controller before or at the same time as the intake. Possible lean condition.

I would go with pipes first, then fuel mgmt. & intake at the same time. While waiting for the later, you'll enjoy the nice tone new pipes will bring you. Enjoy the ride...
