The small breather hose that is about 5” wasn’t connected when I took off the plastic housing in front of the carb.( stayed on the housing) I don’t see where to stick it in the manual and there are no videos that specify said hose. Manual says it’s a breather hose and I’m assuming something needs it to breath. Hose itself and manual both show 2 clamps on both ends so I’m guessing it’s meant to be connected. Much appreciated if I could some help. Thx buds

On the lower portion of the air cleaner assembly, there should be a small port for that hose to connect to.

I have the hose hooked up to the bottom port on the plastic. Does it stay unconnected? I saw that it hooks up behind the carb but I’m not seeing it on my bike.

the hose hooks up behind the carb, you mean at the top of the carb nearest the air intake? that's the petcock vacuum hose

No it’s the short hose that hooks up on engine. I had to take the carb off to find where to hook it up at. I’m assuming cause it’s the only port without a hose connected.

The site is not letting me upload any pictures but it’s right under the seat. It is like it flows back into engine from the air intake. Sure wish I could show the pick of where I found it.
