What's up guys and gals. New to the forum and just bought my first Vulcan, 2010 1700 nomad. Let me start off saying this thing is sweet. Love everything about it. One thing however is driving me crazy. I can't for the life of me, figure out what kind of exhaust is on it. The dealer didn't mention anything about an aftermarket exhaust. I've watched some videos online of stock pipes and mine seem to sound a lot louder and lower, especially at wot. I thought maybe the baffles were just removed but if I'm not mistaken that requires a hole saw which I don't see any cutting done to it. Also, when looking in the pipe it appears there are baffles in it. I can't find any pictures of stock nomads with exhausts that look like mine. I know the front pipes are all stock so they would be just slip ons if anything. There is a stamp on top of a C over a V but I can't seem to find that logo anywhere online either. Also the pipes are slash cut with removable ends via 2 bolts. Like I said they sound great and I'll rock em either way but I would really like to know what's on it. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.
Pics aren't great but that's all I got before the camera crapped out.

Hmmm...the emblem stamped on the exhaust looks familiar but I can't quite place it.

I agree, I don't think it's been de-baffled.

If I can remember that emblem I'll get back to ya.

Thank you for the reply. You wouldn't think it would be that hard to find an image of that logo on Google but I've put in a lot of search time with no luck. I think I can rule out it being stock though.

That would be great if I can get better pics. I haven't been able to find a match with a cobra logo. Seems like all their pipes are stamped with the word cobra.

Just got off the phone with Cobra themselves and they did confirm that IS their logo, they're probably just slip-ons :)

They are Cobra slash-cut slip ons, same as mine. I don't think you can get them any more in that configuration, unless you buy their billet tip slip ons, and then change the tips for the scalloped ones sold separately.

Here are the tips

You all are awesome! I can finally sleep. Thank you. It's good to know what I have so when people compliment them I can give the company some props.
