Here's your chance to be featured at Vulcan Forums! To enter your Vulcan, all you need to do is tell us a little about it, and post some photo(s). And don't forget the story behind the bike because that can often turn the trick!

The winner for each round will be chosen by our members' votes!

Year:
Model:
Eng size:
Pipes:
Seat:
Wheels:
Accessories:
And the story:

As long as you haven't won in the past year you can enter again.

Please post your entries in the active month's thread. That thread will be closed at the end of the month. We'll start a poll with that month's entries and the winner will be named and have their bike featured on the home page.

Also please leave the image link(s) to your bike up where you have them hosted at least until the January of the following year so we can include your bike in the Bike Of The Year contest should your bike win one of the monthly contests during the year.

Beginning August/2012 we are offering Bike Of The Month/Season winners the opportunity to change their user title. Your current title might say, "Senior Member", "Junior Member", "Top contributor" etc. and you are welcome to keep it or we can change it to, "BOTM Winner month/year" No other variations are offered.

Also note that if you are new to the forums, you will not be able to vote in the contest until you have accumulated 15 posts.

Beginning with the April Bike of the Month, the following new requirements will exist;

1) You must have accumulated 15 posts in order to enter a bike, or to discuss the bikes. You will be able to view the bikes, but not discuss them, vote on them, or enter your own until you have accumulated 15 posts. This is the same number of posts that has been required in the past to vote for BOTM.

2) You may be disqualified if you 'rally votes' from other members. This can include sending private messages asking for votes, posting new threads asking for forum members to vote for you, etc.

3) Please be respectful when discussing other members bikes. You may also be disqualified for unsportsman-like comments about other bikes, which can include insults, demeaning comments, or demanding in open forums or PM's that others not vote for them or that they be disqualified. If you have a legitimate concern that someone is not competing fairly and should not be considered for voting, PM a moderator and we will investigate. The open forums, however, are not the place for such discussion

Keep in mind that all other requirements and qualifications do still exist. It must be a Kawasaki Vulcan, it must be YOUR OWN bike, and you must not have won in the last 12 months in order to participate!

Some minor changes to BOTM beginning in April

Hey all!

The Bike of the Month has been a tremendous success in the last several months. Your forum moderators have been discussing what changes would make it better, and more fair.

Remember that the BOTM is intended to be a fair 'peoples choice' contest between active members of the VulcanForums community. It is intended to showcase our members own Kawasaki Vulcans. With this emphasis in mind, the following requirements will be in place beginning with the April BOTM thread. Keep in mind that all OTHER requirements will still be in place as well;
