does anyone have photos of their 900 vulcan custom with hard saddlebags? if you could post a photo, i would appreciate it, along with the make and model of the saddlebag thanks !
Here's a pic of my Mutazu GA hard bags. I painted them myself, so they don't look as good as they should. They were $115 for the pair, but I also bought Edge Brackets ($140) to mount them and unmount them quickly.
I bought these GA Saddlebags and painted them myself. (I had custom paint matched at an Auto paint store in spray cans. The color came out great.) And I modified some throw-over brackets.
The bags weren't too bad BUT they are a little smaller than I would have liked to have. I also thought they 'looked' too small on the bike.
Since these photos I put on Cobra Longs and there's even more room for larger bags. So I'm planning on buying Tsukayu Jumbo Strong Bags.

I have a 2006 Vulcan 900 classic with 36k on the clock. The rear shift lever broke on me while riding home from work. It looks like it had been cracked for quite some time before it finally broke off. I'm just curious, is this a common issue? Or am I just shifting too hard?
Anybody have a website or manufacturer for a cover for the bike that has a heat panel for the exhaust so I don't have to worry about the exhaust being hot or not when I put the cover on.
Really thinking about removing the heel shifter portion of the shifter. I like to hang my heels off the rear portion of the floorboards and the back part of the shifter is in the way in on that side. I'm used to shifting with just the toe part of the shifter mechanism anyway. Anyone made this...
