Hey all I have a 2009 Vulcan 900 custom SE with debaffled exhaust, hypercharger and power commander V...After this winter I went to start her up only to find one cylinder firing..it took some major throttle until the 2nd fired up with some black smoke... I decided to pull the plugs... 8100 Miles...dirty dirty...black plugs.

I live in Colorado..."Mile high city" just wondering if anyone has a map that might work...ALSO if I just open current map and increase the air/fuel ratio a little is that safe....say the value is..lets say 13...change it to 13.5...or up every value that is by .5? She also smells of gas out the tail.

spark plugs were changed today also...I have no problem checking them again once I'm almost out of fuel. So changes would have to be safe for 280 miles or so.

Thanks in advance :D I'll post the current maps settings once I plug in tomorrow.

Is there a shop near you who can Dyno? Being at a higher altitude (making it a bit of a unique scenario) it really might be best for you to get it dialed in at a Dyno.

I just really don't have the $300-500 to drop on that..I'm actually -$300 in the bank right now...hit some "oh crap" financial situations...payday is Thursday but ...still no $$ for a dyno. Just lookin for some advice..I don't care if it runs a little rich just lookin to lean it up a little...I don't mind dirty...however I do mind burnt...know what I mean?

I would jack up the numbers in the range that you typically cruise at. Say 15% throttle up to 25%, 2000 RPM up to 3500. Change those cells to 14 or 14.5 and your plugs will be cleaner and you'll improve your gas mileage. When you have the need for speed you'll be back at 13-1 when you crank open the throttle.
