Hi All,

Just finished my conversion to foot pegs :). Two brackets (10mm Aluminium) pegs and spacers. About four hors of polishing and hey presto. Total cost around £75.00 :D May revise the design with a slotted mounting hole.
Just had our first snow of the year the night I finish the job, typical... Sitting on the bike they feel real comfortable, just may have to modify the brake pedel position a little. Had a few issues with spacer dimensions and hole pitch, but nothing insurmountable. I will modify my drawings and post in case anyone feels like giving it a go.

Marty, was it personal preference or another reason to change to pegs from floorboards? I love my boards, but then I've got big feet.

Just Personal preference, two up the boards deck out on most roundabouts. Since my custom paint job I figured the pegs suited the overall look. I had a meansteak a few years back and loved the peg positions on that. I always intended a quick changeover option. As it is now, two socket heads bolts and I can switch back to the boards. Hell, running out of things to do on it now without getting mega expensive, as it is I've spent over $4K in the year ive had her, she who must be obeyed thinks everything comes off ebay for next to nothing... If she finds out I'm dead meat.:)

That strikes a nerve. Bikes can cause problems....... if you let them (yourself). Especially when Ebay is involved. Sometimes I wish ebay had never been invented. But, in fairness, I am somewhat (very) selfish, and generally(always) I am my own worst enemy.
