I bought this bad boy a few days ago and after taking apart the rear fender I noticed that it's Frankenstein's Monster.

I'm trying to find a way to stabilize the rear fender (when I get up around 55-60 or when the wind is kicking that rear fender is waddling like a duck with the Hershey squirts). Also it's my daily driver so I'll need to put some bags on it.

Anyone have this problem with this or other models? I assume I'll have to melt some rods to get it to where it needs to be, but cant get any good ideas on how to set it up.

Any experience/recommendations out there?

Not sure what I"m looking at here. Is that a 'fixed' fender on a Drifter? The OEM Drifter rear fender should be attached to, and move up and down with, the swingarm.

It is far from being anchored. The guy I bought it from has a Harley seat on it and for some reason decided to cut the frame and get rid of what retaining holes I had
