Looking to sell or trade my 900 custom late fall early winter on a Vaquero let me hear all about them! How does it run? I recently rented a Ultra Classic with 103 engine really liked how that felt I'm assuming the 1700 should be about the same maybe better?!

There is a vaquero thread with 100 plus pages to look at. I sold my 900lt to buy the vaquero and love it. Music, cruise control and 6 speed is great. Lot's of riders do not like the flip wind screen, it's a personnel preference. If nothing else get racnray throttle mod and you will like it better, plenty of threads on that also. For me no regrets selling my 900 to get it, I enjoy riding more than the 900 any day.

I LOVE my Vaquero, it's 15 months old and has 24,603 miles on it. I can't compare it to a Harley as I havn't ridden one, but all the goodies the Vaquero has it's a great skoot.

Did i mention I LOVE my Vaquero??

Love mine too, spent a few bucks making it my own but still haven't spent what a stock Harley would have cost me.

Awesome that's exactly what I wanted to hear! I checked out the other thread....but it quickly turned into a thread on oil lol. I've been reading articles and video reviews on both the vaquero and street glide with 103. Seems like the hp numbers are lower on both then I would have thought....vaquero having about 4 more than the harley. The ultra that I rode actually felt pretty quick.

Keep'em coming!!

I traded my 2009 Custom Special Edition on Feb 1, 2012 for a 2011 Black Vaquero. As mentioned in previous posts, I have never regretted the decision. I now have approximately 3,500 miles on it. I've loved every minute on the bike. The radio, the six speed transmission, and the cruise control are amazing. Don't get me wrong, the 900 cc bike is a smooth bike, but the 1700 is incredible. Well hope my two cents helps you make your decision. Oh and btw, I have a friend who bought a Harley...he bought it with ALL the bells and whistles...he paid around $30K about 3 years ago...I only paid $12K for my bike...that doesnt include my trade in and the cash I put down on it...but I have never ridden a Harley so I can't speak for them...heard they vibrate and will fall apart...just sayin!
