Kawasaki Gel "standard" seat for all years Vaquero. This is new in the box and has never been rode on. I ordered it when I bought my bike new and forgot I told them to get it. Now I have it and a new Corbin on the way as well. Make someone a heck of a deal because I don't have a need for it. This sets real close to the stock seat but a much firmer feel, since it's firmer you set just a slight bit higher. Neat carbon fiber look to it. Kawasaki part number is 53001-242A with retail of $248.95 and I paid 267.00 with tax. I'm going to take a hit just to get it to someone that can use it. $215.00 shipped to your door, the $15.00 is to help with shipping cost. (no bumpers or bracket with it)

Just a heads up. 53001-242A, the seat you have pictured, is NOT a solo seat. It's an important distinction because this seat will not be compatible with the solo rack from Kawasaki.

Your right that they (Kawasaki) don't call it a solo seat, they call it a "standard" seat. I call it a solo because I don't know how anybody could ride on that rear section. I fixed the add though but can't change the title. The Kawasaki true "solo" seat is not a gel seat and is a lot more money.

Yeah. Unfortunately it could cause some confusion because Kawasaki DOES sell a solo seat; which is compatible with other 'solo' accessories.

It IS a useless pillion, just like the stock one. Kawasaki does make a wider rear 'touring' seat, and there are aftermarket options.
