So im new to the forum and to the Vulcan. I bought a 08 900 classic lt a couple months ago. the guy i purchased it from said there was a slight vale tick related to a valve adjustment that was need. Any idea if its possible to do this at home if so how difficult is it? i work on cars a good bit... also any idea on cost? (starving college student here)

It's due to have the valves checked at 15K anyway. Whether you do it yourself or have someone else do it shouldn't matter. 900s (and many V-twins) have "busy" sounding top ends anyway, but if it's a noise that can be quieted by routine maintenance, so much the better.
