wocka, wocka, wocka
At least they had some warning. Sirens were going off more than 20 minutes in advance, and some folks I know said they had serious warnings to "take cover" almost an hour in advance. At least there's better forecasting in place than in previous days, and still... such destruction. It WOULD be nice if there were some way to dissipate these systems. Maybe some day... Even still, I'm sure mother nature will find some way to make herself dangerous and the like.If this concept were actually functionable, communities could do SOME protection from all the loss of life and property.
Dunno why, but scenes from Caddyshack are flashing through my head...Good way to take care of groundhog holes and uproot tree stumps too. :3
