Word to the wise. The front and rear turn signal bulbs are different. :eek:The front turn signal bulbs are 1157 and the rear are 1156. So you will end up having a spare for the other side. Don't waste time at the dealer. These are commonly found at Advance Auto etc. Didn't look closely at the front bulb and could not figure out why I could not put the new bulb in.:rolleyes: Just like a car the signal will rapidly flash when the bulbs are going out.

The fronts are running lights and turn signals (dual filament) and the rears and turn only (single filament) also used for back up lamps on most older cars. It is illegal in most if not all states to have steady yellow / amber lights showing from the rear of a vehicle. Yellow / Amber is OK as flashing turn signals.

Well that makes sense now. Sure was annoying though crouching in the parking lot with the drizzling rain.
