I got my bags after a six week wait and they look beautiful !

The install was pretty easy but the front mounting bolt to the frame rubbed against the lids so I made a shim and it clears without any problem.

It will be nice to store stuff instead of riding home in what I rode out in.

Looks good! I had the same problem with mine (regular, not jumbo) and did the same thing.

If the bags wiggle too much or you have a bolt break, some of us removed the chrome trim pieces and used shorter, higher grade bolts.

Other than what I just mentioned my bags have been great. They will hold some stuff I wax them periodically to keep them looking new.

I did use shorter bolts on the frame mount because I run a 225/60 tire and I didn't want them to rub.

Okay, I had something different in mind. My bolts don't pass through the fender but to clear the chrome I had to use longer bolts with spacers and washers. Once I took the trim off, I was able to use 10mm shorter bolts.
