The best way to solve all these problems is to just ride by yourself, old numero uno. But no man is an island, and group rides are their own special kind of fun. At MO, we definitely do our fair share of group rides. Here’s what we’ve learned about the things most likely to go wrong, and what you can do to ward them off ahead of time.

seriusly, slideshow - how i despise them.
but i dig motorcycles, so i trudged through it.

some seem silly, but others are completely legit.
in 4 years of annual 4 day trips with a group do 4 (see all the 4s?!) I've had to get two tires replaced.
once due to a nail, and once due to wear (i really thought I had more miles left on that tire)

I rarely ride in groups of more than 4, and my main group are all friends outside of riding together so that works well.

Waiting 5 minutes for Bill to show up because he was filling up is better than everyone having to pull over 10 minutes after you head out because Bill has to fill up. Everyone show up Topped Off, rule one.
