My bike is in the workshop. It needs a body job. I would like to change the tires. Which brand would you recommend for good grip, especially for riding on roads with a lot of twists and turns?

Roads in my area have lots of bends and twists and the OEM Bridgestone tires handled them fine. Replaced my worn-out rear tire with a Shinko and it seems to handle the bends marginally better. The limiting handling factor with the Vulcan 900s in my experience is with its design, rather than the tires. It's much more likely that the chassis will contact the pavement than there being a tire-related handling problem. But other riders may have different experiences and opinions.

I have ran shinko's for years much better than bridgestone tires. if your looking for max grip stay away from the HD shinkos because they are for more mileage

I bought Avon Cobra Tires for my bike. They come highly recommended for road grip. Lots of twisties and turns where I live, road grip is a good thing.
