well the selling price is either $5,000 to $6,500, you will have to replace the gas tank unless you can work miracles. Are the forks bent on it? Says it runs well, for the price if you have extra $$ to fix it it would be a great bike at a decent price................do it! Wish i was in Wisconsin :(

Well I went to look at the 2000 today.

The Good:

It's a VN2000
Runs fine
All Gears shift fine
Tires are fairly new
Frame is strait
Rims are strait
Forks are strait

The bad: ......from what I could see

All body panels need bodywork (no big deal)
Head light trim bent
Needs front and rear turns signals
Needs front and rear turn signal wiring harness (all four cut off at posts)
Needs belt (has a large stone embedded in it)
Driver floor board bent/loose
Radiator bezel bent
Front jug chrome cover/cap has gouge
Rectifier bracket bent
Horn is junk/bent
Gas tank/mount may need replacing (very wobbly)
Handle bar risers need replacing
Wiring harness from left handle bar (turn signal switch) needs replacing
Missing driver lower side panel

Ebay has most the parts I need.......

I could have all the parts I need for less than...lets say $900.00...granted I don't have to replace the gas tank.

My cost for paint and supplies would be around $450

Hmmmm
