hello all. i have a 2007 2VK LT with 35,000 miles. never had a problem or concern. the other week i took it out for a short ride.after 2 to 3 miles, a high pitched , shrill,l tea pot sound occurred.i thought the radiator had vented for some reason. after stopping and inspection i found no leaks or spills. all liquid levels were the same as they were at the start. no warning lights. i have since put 200 miles or so since. all normal. any thoughts? thanks john

If it was fairly warm outside then your fuel tank could be venting. Once that big chunk of aluminum under the fuel tank gets warm, the fuel heats up and the cap can let out a whiny whistle.... At least my 04 does that on the rare occasion it gets hot here lol....

thanks all. i suspected the cooling system, but had no evidence. the outside temps were in the upper 80's. in the past had no problems in high 90's. john
