Hi, All. I just wanted to share with you a good source for tank bibs. I just got and installed a tank bib on my '97 Vulcan 800, and am very pleased. The company is www.phcustoms.com. You can find their products on Ebay (which is how I found them), but by going to their website you can customize your bib however you'd like - with a pocket, without a pocket, with studs, w/o studs, with an emblem, w/o an emblem, different colored threads, etc. They're an American company, making them in the USA, so that's a nice bonus. The cost was very reasonable compared with other sources. To get mine the way I wanted it cost me about $58, including Priority shipping. I had it in three days after I ordered it, exactly the way I wanted it.

Safe riding!

How easy, or hard, is it to take the pouch off of the bib?
It takes about 15sec. once you figure it out :D
First you unbuckle it and pull the strap out of the front little retaining strap. Then pull straight up on the big top flap, then out. This lets the retaining strap slide loose. You can then pull the strap out of the little back strap and the retainer holding it on to the bib. The retainer shown in the picture does not look like that. It's a much larger piece sewn into the bib without rivets and much more secure. The little pouch also has two little "D" rings so you can either attach something else to it while it's in place or use for attaching to your belt when it's off. The pouch is large enough to fit a cell phone the size of a Galaxy5 or a pack of smokes. The chrome studs match what's already on my saddle bags and Mustang seat.
I really like the looks of it!

I wanted something a bit different so I ordered one of these.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-VULCAN-VN-900-LEATHER-TANK-Cover-Pad-Strap-Chap-Panel-Bra-Bib-/200958566714?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2eca10613a
I haven't put it on yet because of the cold but it's exactly what I wanted and the construction appears to be excellent.
That's badass, I'm sold. Gotta get one now to replace the Mustang one I have currently. It always seemed cheaply made to me, not like real leather. The one you posted is more on the same lines as what I put on my Harley. Now that is real leather and finished off the studded look I love, obviously! Thanks for sharing.

Just ordered, LOL!
The leather ties for it will be in the pouch.
It's supposed to warm up this coming week so I'll be uncovering my bike this weekend and putting my tank bib on along with the other accessories I picked up this miserable winter.

C'mon spring, bring it on!
