Cop pulled me over on the highway last night. He was very nice and said hey man I ride alot and you have no rear lights except for that tiny license plate light. To make a long story short are there any tail light replacement options that will make it stay on so I can have some rear lighting at night?

Sounds like you might have some wiring issues? My tail light is on all the time and brightens up when I hit the brakes. Maybe the 'tail light' portion of your bulb is burned out as they are a two filament bulb.

That could be it. I wasn't sure if it stayed on or not I never pay attention to it during the day. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, you have (should have) a dual filament bulb. One of the filaments have burned out.

Does the vn900 only have one tail/brake light bulb in the housing?

If so, that is a step backwards for Ma Kawi, as the vn700/750 has had 2 tail/brake bulbs since its introduction in 1985.

I thought most or all newer bikes had 2 bulbs now.
