I bought a pre-owned Vulcan 900 Classic LT which came with cobra slashdown pipes (SKU 4818). It's too loud for my liking and I am looking at options to reduce the db level, or at least cut down the high tones.

Suggestions please.

1. Install baffles/silencers on the cobra. Not sure how effective this will be!!
2. Switch to OEM pipes. Found a vulcan owner to do the swap, but wondering if I have to retune the power commander or just disconnect?

Cobra quiet core baffles make a huge difference. They take away the sharp crack sound and leave a more well rounded rumble. They are markedly more quiet at idle. At 35 dollars a baffle with a super easy install i'd try this before you go back to stock.

Thanks Ryan. I am not able to find the correct baffles for my exhaust. I have Cobra Slashdown pipes. I am continuing to look but any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks again.
