I filled up my 2013 Impala today over in Warren, Ohio for $1.64 a Gallon at a Sheetz Store. Most other stations had prices of $1.89 & $1.95 right in the same area but I found the lowest to be had tonight. Got the car filled up for $26.00 and it was almost breathing fumes when I pulled into the pump. How is everyone's prices in their areas now?:D:D

gasoline

Lowest price here (central ne.) that I've seen is $1.79, bouncing up and down by a nickel or dime from time to time.

Think they're just setn us up for $5 gas this summer, but I hope I'm wrong.
Average price here in Pittsburgh is sill about $2.30 a gallon.

...I'm waiting for the quick price hike that's (unfortunately) sure to come
As long as crude oil stays low the gas prices will stay low. We also need the Saudis to continue to produce an over stock of it for the prices to stay low. Supply & Demand. But summer time will bring more of a demand so I expect the price to go up some but not to drastically. I am up here in Sharon, PA and the Gas price is the same here as it is in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania has fixed that high price by having a much higher Gas tax then Ohio. I am lucky I live right on the Ohio border and have fast access to the low prices in Ohio. I am only 12 miles away from the cheap gas in Ohio so I go there to fill it up.

Use this link and put in the zip code of the area where you want to find out the daily current gas price and then you should be able to get it at least at the best price in that area. It says Ohio gas price but it works for any place in the country.

I definitely agree about OPEC's over producing being one of the major factors effecting the prices. It also helps that the US is producing a larger amount as well, and possible for the foreseeable future if forecasts are accurate. The questions really becomes, when does everyone decide to tone down the production (if ever?)

Ohio isn't all that far from Pittsburgh, though it is far enough to really not make it worth the trip. Plus, I tend to avoid popping into/through Ohio since they don't have CCW reciprocity with PA, but THAT is a whole different subject and discussion all together.
lucky,here in Greece today's price is 5.50 Euro,that's about $ 7.5 a gallon
Yikes, that's nuts.
Lowest here in Salt Lake Valley today is $1.71.9, ten cents less with a Sinclair card. Enjoy it while it lasts. Just wait and see what happens Memorial Day!
Seen it as low as $1.65 here.

I'm in Pittsburgh too but my job takes me all over western Pa. and Youngstown area. Yesterday I saw 2.17 in New Castle, 2.15 in Erie, 1.84 in Austintown and Columbiana Ohio...
My Dodge Ram 2500 has a 35 gal fuel tank so I have always treated the half full mark as my empty. So nice to fill up for twenty bucks instead of the $40-50  not too long ago!
If it gets down to under a $1.50 I am loading up two 55 gallon drums and going over to fill them up and put them aside with some Stabile in them for safe keeping and when prices rise in the summer I will have a fall back stash to go to of 110 gallons that will last me most of the summer.:pig::pig:

If only I had a safe place to store a couple of drums...
Or hell, I'd settle for the SPACE to store a couple of drums where someone couldn't just walk up to them and take what they want.
storing fuel is like... storing mana in the desert.. it jus goes bad

inky,, most assume that this lower price is jus anomaly and will soon be bak to $4+. this current blip is just the wind blowing on the scene. If yor Prez could, he would drive it up $10. he's got his reasons.

how y'all gonna feel when yor sittin on barrels of $1.50 and it goes below $1? Fuel Prices are subject to the whims of the market and politic policies. Cost of production and distribution. over in Iraq, gas cost .20 gallon. hey theyr jus closer to the pump. but they dont have 20c so ther.

and then ther is that whole storage problem as this stuff is both extremely Volatile and short life.. not too mention 100 gals is jus a smidgen of what you would consume in short order.. then of course it is subject to theft, evaporation, leakage, degradation, etc.. AND its all in one place, when you need it, yor likely to be somewhere else.. and have to pay the goin rate anyway..

Personally I dont give a rip about saving the Planet with green technology..
I am looking forward to Electric Bike.. probably will go with an on/off road type, small, lite, quiet, Quik!
probly just park outside your house and recharge while yor not home? poncho

It is already climbing back up slowly and I expect it to be back high by summer so I will feel real good when I have a 110 gallons of cheap below 2 dollar a gallon gas for the bike then 4 dollar a gallon fuel that it will most likely be at this coming warm season.

Like I said I am waiting for the $1.50 a gallon then buy it but if it goes back up fast to 2 bucks or more I will just float in the same boat as everyone else.:D
Up 8 or 9 cents in this area today. Lowest is $1.79.9.
