i have 3 people going to sturgis this year. would like to team up with others to rent a house. its not cheap with supply and demand and a projected 1000000 for the 75th. my groups travel arrangements are already done. the big thing now is housing. not that it matters but we have a kawi a victory and a harley in the group. we're looking to do the week 2 aug thru 9 aug those are our flight dates out of ct. bikes are being hauled by trucking company. feel free to get back to me if you or your group are interested, thanks in advance

Glad to hear that you're going. We'll be there - rolling out of Columbus on Friday the 31st and arriving in Sturgis on Sunday the 2nd. Well be staying until either Friday or Saturday, and then starting the 3-day ride back.

That being said, you're not going to get many replies regarding the rally. You might get some people telling you that it's not "their thing", or saying that they "prefer to go in June". But, there's not a huge rally crowd on this forum. And, nothing wrong with that!

Have you guys considered camping? There are a LOT of campgrounds, and some of them are more fun than others!

We'll be arriving on the 1st and leaving on the 6th. We're taking a motorhome and trailering the bikes. Staying at Shade Valley.

I'm coming too! Travelling further than most... Ship the bike, and take a 10k mile ride around your country with 4 days in Sturgis right in the middle of the trip. Looking forward to getting out of the NZ winter.

we leave the 31rst and come home the 13th. 14 in our group. My Nomad in the middle of HDs. We all love to ride, and i love My Kawasaki.

update for the sturgis rally we now have 5 in the group 2 of us from ct are having our bikes shipped out with a truck transport company, 2 are riding from maine 2000 miles 600 - 700 miles a day for 3 days and they'll arrive aug 2nd the 5th is riding up from denver area 6-7 hr roadtrip. we have a house already rented and its 2 miles from rapid city airport. we are looking for one more person, the house can handle 6 people there are 2 full baths and everyone has their own bed. if we get 1 more for the full 7 nites, everyone pays $88 per person per nite, your not gonna beat that deal. let me know if anyone is interested. we are all in our early 50's and more then 1 drink is not unheard of
