Anybody here tried it? Successful or did it break? I don't have pics, but mine is bent from bike being dropped by previous owner. I wonder if one could heat it, put it in a press(vise) and straighten it that way. I've been riding with it that way for 3 years, but it's starting to bug me. :D Comments please.

I took mine off, laid it on the concrete drive and tapped it with a hammer. Came out ok, I would just be patient and try not to force it too quick. Replacements are cheap if needed.

Depends how bent it is. Personally, I would replace it. I wouldn't risk it snapping at some stage, especially under an emergency braking situation.
