Does anyone elses throttle get harder to turn or feel like there is friction on it below 35*. It's almost like a throttle lock is on. Above 35-40 its free as a bird. I know the easy solution don't ride it that cold LOL. But thats not my nature. I ride the heck out of things hot/ cold rain or shine usually. WIll be better when I get the windshield put on. It has been snowing on and off today so I gave in and was a sissy and took the cager today. Don't know if its worth flushing the cables with penetrant or just leave them alone as its usually only in th emorn that they are stiffened up.

Definitely worth some lubrication... I've ridden in temps down to 28 before and never noticed any difference in the throttle.

Ditto on the throttle cable lube. If you live in an area where there's a lot of humidity, you could develop some corrosion on the cable, but more than likely all you need is a shot of fresh lube in there. Flushing it out first with something like WD-40 isn't a bad idea, either.
