I have noticed the steering on my Classic is off center slightly. What is correct way to center it? Is it necessary to loosen the clamps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the steering off center or are the bars slightly bent, on the classic the risers go directly into the yoke, the pre drilled holes for the risers are probably computer drilled, hard to imagine that they are out of wack, improbable, but certainly not impossible.

I bought the bike with 600 miles on it and the bars don't appear bent. The rear wheel appears to be adjusted the same number of notches on either side. It looks like the steering head is pointed off slightly to one side when driving straight down the road. I have checked the clamp bolts but not the center clamp bolt.
