Hello

I like to update my brake system. I like to update my rubber brake lines to stainless steel brake lines.

I need help. Any idea which brand and where to buy?

Thanks for your input.

Two ways to go.

1) simple way....Get the Barons kit for $ 340
You get Barnett cables with Goodridge brake lines. All in Stainless steel.

2) Individual way ( I went this route ) $ 346

Go Barnett for the cables and Galfer for the front brake line and Goodridge for the rear.
When I researched my cables two separate people had issues with the "T" connector on the Goodridge front brake line.

Go with the stainless steel and not the platinum on the cables.
The platinum will not match the stainless steel brake lines you will get
from Galfer.
The brake lines come in one piece ( assembled )
One line from the brake control and then it split into two at the bottom.

You won't be able to utilize the metal bracket underneath your triple trees
that held the OEM lines down below there. You won't need it.
Lines stay free and there is no problem with that.

You will want to still use the chrome bracket that holds down the lines near the caliper.
If you want ( I did ) take a dremel to it and remove the reflector portion of it.

I went through Phat Performance. Got it all from them.

As for install... It not that hard. Shoot me an email if you need answers.
PS.
You don't have to remove the throttle body assembly to swap out the throttle lines.

Hey,
I have a 2009 Nomad and for some reason I cannot find the Galfer cables anywhere. Most sites have either an earlier year, or for the classic. Can I use a different year or model (i.e. classic)?
Thanks.
