well from the deal you cut him.. I'd say it was a steal.. of a deal..
he looks real happy. good on you. maybe his son and brother will join us later this fall on the Cabo Cruise.. or is it the Baja Burn? .. wait, no, its Siesta by the Sea..
Rode home yesterday, fine ride, lots of power, don't know wtf guys are complaining about needing a sixth gear, I was rolling at 75 most of the way and the tach was dancing btween 25-2700 rpm. Even on some uphill sections. A small pull on the wrist and I can feel the strength of the engine.
Gear changes are a little clunkier than my 1600, but the clank on shifting feels like solid metal to metal contact, absolutely no grind or slip.
The only issue with this real first test ride was the height and angle of the handlebars, too narrow 4me and the wrist angle is uncomfortable, they are aftermarket and look like mini-apes, so I will try out adjustment first so not to have to replace. Don' t want to mess to much with this one, it looks awesome as it is and other than that it feels as awesome as it looks.
