Just installed an Ivan's W/ BAK Flash, V&H 2 into 1 along with Chuckster BAK with stock cover.
Some concerns with Chucksters BAK W stock cover.
1) air temp sensor makes some contact, some tension against it presently.
2) didn't like not having a gasket between throttle body and plate, used form a gasket for now.

Filter clamping situation ( not a round rimed top cover ) leaves me concerned about filter sealing. May switch to a round rimmed cover that also umbrellas sides. Would require drilling and tapping for threaded rod.
Would probably replace straight barbed crank case vent fitting to a 45 or 90 degree pointing down.
Use a proper material seal for throttle body to plate.

Not sure what to do about air temp sensor, maybe re-drill and tapp, plug old holes.

Liked how it ran on short test run, no popping, nice sound but not too loud. Idle seams higher but not excessive.

Thunder Mfg. used to make a gasket that worked perfectly for the Chuckster BAK, but I think they have gone out of business. If you made your own and you have a good seal, you should be just fine.

As far as I can tell, I have had no leakage between the filter and the stock cover. Even sitting in more stop than go highway traffic at over 110° ambient in Georgia, I've had no issues with the new placement of the air temp sensor. With the added fuel from the flash (or, in my case, a fuel controller), the engine should run cooler and should rarely, if ever, need to have the timing retarded due to excessive heat. If you think the sensor hole was drilled and/or tapped wrong, maybe you should contact Chuckster.

Was gonna drive it to work this morning but decided to hold off until I have a chat with Chucksters.
So good idea Sabre-T and thanks for some reinsuring feedback on yours, that's what I was hoping for I guess :laugh2:
Removing the bags showed low rear brake pads, so gotta hold back some because of that also.

It was the straight fitting for the pcv Valve along with the hose running straight back interfered with the bottom of the throttle body.

Found a Dorman #787-046D 90 degree fitting and all fit together good. pcv hose routes nicely to bottom of "V" around then up to valve cover.
Now I have to figure out if it's OK to plug air switching valve.

Runs strong but still not ready to call it good. Might just be me.:nerd:

There is some hesitation and surging when throttle is initiated, but otherwise runs great. Like a little louder tone from the V&H exhaust for other drivers to recognize. I think any excess noise is from the intake, but OK with it. Extra power mid to top.
Tune may not be optimum for 2. Into 1 but not ready to put old exhaust back.
Wonder if Racnrays throttle mod would help roll on.
