I pulled the front faring a few weeks ago and tightened hardware and siliconed the dash gauges and for the most part all the jiggling and rattling sounds were gone. However I still had some noise coming from the area of the glove boxes. So Saturday while I was adjusting the heigth of the left fog lamp, I pulled the two glove boxes. I found on both boxes that the locking latch was not holding tension between the door and the box allowing it to rattle around. So I removed the two small screws holding the metal latches and using 2 pairs of slip joint pliers I tweeked them a little. I reinstalled them and the glove box doors were now snug. I took the VV for a spin and finally, after 15K miles of annoyance, the VV is rattle free. What a pleasure.

I just put a couple of layers of Gorilla Tape on them. Same effect as tweaking them using pliers and didn't have to take anything apart.
