Here is a heads up on prices I got for shipping my ECU to Ivan yesterday. Weight was 17 oz and prices included $850 insurance:

Fed Ex (local franchise) $141 Overnight
$48 Monday Delivery
$39 Tuesday Delivery

US Post Office $37.35 Priority Express Overnight

Perhaps just something funky with my local Fed Ex franchise but certainly a no brainer. I just checked and the package arrived in Newburgh NY a few hours ago and is out for delivery. Ivan's shop in Congers NY is under an hour away.

Geeked for the flash. After 1900 miles on my new 2016 Voyager, I recognize and experienced all the things that Ivan hopefully will fix for me!

I paid $20 from Georgia USPS Priority 3 day. Sent it Sat and he got it Mon, I was expecting Tues. Anyway, he updated and sent it back on Mon and I got it Wed. $23 FedEx ground. It rained here most of that time anyway. I used that down time to change both tires and spark plugs, tightened all hose clamps and just a good going over looking for anything loose. Getting it ready for a 4K+ trip next month.

Lucky chaps, equivalent of $85 of your money OZ to USA then $79 by USPS international priority on the way back. In transit at the moment, hopefully have it back next week- so only a 3 week turnaround

Twice now I've sent mine out - two weeks one day the first time as an early adopter, and the same two weeks one day again for the update - with a holiday weekend (Q's Bday) in the mix this time as well. Sounds like your shipping was more expensive than mine, and slower as well?

When you finally get it back in the bike though, I think you'll agree - worth every minute, and every penny.

Wow...coming home on the proverbial "slow boat to China." Hang in! Ivan received mine Friday morning and shipped Fed Ex Friday afternoon. $33. Will be here in Seattle area Wed. Can't wait!
