Hi.
I purchased Shinko 777 crusier tires for my Kawasaki 96 Vulcan 1500. I have put only 350kms on but I notice a slight shimmy in the front end going into corners. Can anyone give me any feed back on this?

What should the tire pressure be?
I have a book for the bike pressure that is very different from the pressure on the side wall. Which do I use.

I'm going to ask my tire guy to have a boo also.
I did see a very bad shimmy on utube on a FJR 1300. He had three set put on and they were all the same?
Other wise I see lots of posotive reviews. I bought these at Canadasmotorcycle.ca and the service from them was good, but the tire return policy sucks.
Thanks, I appreciate any feed back.

Follow the owners manual for pressure.
Usually the amount on the tire is a maximum the tire can take.
It is not the recommended tire pressure.

For my 2005 1500 Classic, 28psi is the front, per Kawasaki, and 42psi rear. I can't imagine the same basic bike (a 96) being different but what do I know? I've owned mine less than a month LOL!
