I recently found and downloaded a 2006 service manual for the 900. My question is this. The manual is for 900's up to the year 2006 and I have a 2012. Is there much change between the 2006 and 2012? I'm thinking things the like the amount of oil you need and torque specs would still be the same. So for the most part I should be able to use all the numbers from the 2006 when I work on my 2012. Anyone know of some difference's I should be aware of?

As a matter of fact, I have been using the 2006 service manual online. I just purchased a hard copy form Kawasaki for myself. This one I can write in, turn down page corners, add post-it tabs... On the spine it states it is for 2006-2017 Kawasaki Vulcan 900.
If you like the electronic version then use it. I will use the electronic version for searches then use my hard copy spread next to the bike and cover it in grease.
