I was thinking to add siriusxm STRATUS 7 kit with aux cable but never got into it.
I think that would be the cheapest option to add satellite radio.
The STRATUS 7 kit comes with everything you would need to wire it to the bike, but since it is not the factory unit, handlebar controls would not work.

I installed the STRATUS 7 kit on my voyager and love it. The best part was it cost about $29.00 from amazon and came with 3 months of free service. I then bought another unit and installed it in my truck. All i need to do is pull it off the cradle and slide into the truck cradle and i now have radio in both vehicles. Its true the handle bar controls don't work but the volume does and that's all you need unless yo do a lot of channel surfacing. It does change channels easily enough just push the one of 10 programmed buttons, no problem.

After seeing this thread earlier today i went and checked this out as well.

I typically stream amazon prime music but finally cancelled after they jacked up the prices to $120 a year. I now share a prime with another person but amazon prime music is only for primary member.

XM streaming was $8 a month but not sure if they require anything else?

The problem is that XM, at least in Canada, does not offer app streaming only... It's an add-on to your subscription.
If you have valid car subscription for example, you can add online streaming that will let you listen via web player or the app for additional $4 per month.

In the end, at least for now, I have installed an iPod and I also have an ability to hook up my phone where I can play Spotify or any other streaming service.
