So I bought a Saddlemen profiler and the directions say I need the bracket from stock passenger seat. The bike came with a mustang. I’ve looked at the parts diagram and went to local kawai dealer and can’t get just the bracket. Saddlemen isn’t being much help either. Internet searches haven’t turned up much, although I found a rear seat on eBay for $80 I could take said bracket from. Not sure what to do, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
Which piece are you looking for, upper (seat side) or lower (frame side)? I put Mustangs on mine and used the original latch assembly on the frame side. I would have to go to storage to find out if the factory original ass killer seat had different mounting hardware...:nerd:
Bracket that’s bolted to passenger seat that clips into the latch on fender. Can’t believe kawai doesn’t sell it. If you can part with it that would be sweet. Lemme know, thanks.
I will look in storage later today. I am taking the ladies to the range this morning for some pistol work and trap but I will check when we get back...
I have a "B" word rolling around in my head lol..... I took my sister in law for a 200 mile ride yesterday. Skirted a storm all the way north, stopped for lunch and watched it roll south of us. Then we started angling south and west to get back home, skirting the storm all the way home. Stayed DRY, and got to ride on "fresh" pavement all the way. We live in the trees and mountains here so the aroma after a rain is fantastic! Not that Florida is without charm....:devil2:
Won't take too much, won't work on anything else lol. Postage, handling, and a cold beer should do it.
I don't much care for the fuss of international shipping so I can Purolator it to Estevan (brother lives there).
You able to pick it up there? I can PM you address and phone number...
I did find one, it was a bugger to track one down. Thanks for the heads up though.
