Well, I now have my Viking Hardbags ready to install on my 2018 900LT
Recognising the problems some forum members have had with the Viking hardware supplied, I was wondering if any of you have used the original Kawasaki mounting frames that come standard on the 900LT bags?
With the 3 hole mounting it would seem fairly easy to do and appears robust enough.

Got my Viking Lamellar bags yesterday for my 09 Custom and was thinking the same thing although I don't know if the mounting frames that were on the bike are stock, they would be pretty easy to mount to. The previous owner used the mounts to mount some Saddlemen soft throw-over bags. They've worked for the 4 years I've had the bike. I've got a Cobra backrest that mounts with the same points so I'll probably have to get longer bolts anyway.
