Is there anyone besides Kawasaki that sells a set of racks or chrome trim to go on top of the saddlebags. I keep touching the left saddlebag top with my boot while getting off (I'm not as young as I used to be) and I'm afraid I may end up with some scratches there.

I installed the Cobra Lid Guards, for that exact reason. And they work perfect.

I installed the Kawi saddlebag top racks for that exact reason and while I was at it I also put the saddlebag side racks on.

Not sure if you'd be interested in leather but I believe a guy on this site worked with a small leather company to make leather covers for the saddlebags. They looked good from what I can recall.

I want the leather ones for sure. They keep the great lines, but also protect.

Werent these only for the Vaquero with the side opening bags? If available for the top opening bags also, maybe someone can share a link for info.

Those look real nice. I've had a little stainless and aluminum work done for boats in the past and it's not cheap.

About $300 in your money but great quality & will probably outlast the bike
