I have an '06 Vulcan 900 Classic. I need to replace the entire headlight assembly on mine (dented - tell you the story later). I like the look of the original, but if there's a similar after-market that's cheaper or has better options for bulbs, etc., please let me know. Looking around, unless someone suddenly wants to part with theirs on ebaymotors (been looking...) replacing OEM looks really pricey.

I'm looking for lower-cost options that will be easy to install and still look good on the bike. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Meancycles?

I have bought a lot of accessories from Meancycles.com and they usually have a few nice-looking headlights advertised for around $130 (and a bunch that are way, way more). I just looked into replacing the "most" damaged portion of my light, the lamp rim, and it's $42 just to replace that one segment of the overall light. Mine is bent resulting in huge difficulties adjusting the beam, and also causing rattles etc... so, if I can't find an economical way to fix my OEM light, I'll probably go with this one for 140.

But, that light is fully 50% smaller in lens area (for whatever that's worth) than the OEM light. So, if you do go that route, I'd love to hear back on whether the light pattern was adequate.
