I currently have a
2011 KAWASAKI VULCAN 900 CLASSIC LT
With spoke tires
Front Tires 130x90x16
Rear Tires 180x70x15

I am thinking of finding non spoke rims and using tubeless tires.

At the same time I’m thinking about increasing the size of the rear and maybe front tire has anybody done this do they know what sizes The bite can handle if not has anybody just change them out right and recommendations of where to find decent ninespoke rims as a replacement thank you

I swapped the rear wheel on my 2009 VN900 Classic with one from a VN900 Custom, and the Michelin Commander II rear tire from the stock spoked rim fit the Custom's rear perfectly. I did go with a taller set of tires with the Michelin's (before the wheel swap) and like the ride better; I forget the size numbers but you should be able to find that info easily.

I got the taller tires to improve the ride at highway speed, and to improve it further I had the front pulley swapped to the 34 tooth Baron pulley - I'm happy with the ride now.

I did the wheel swap because spoked wheels just make me nervous lol.

I got the Custom rear rim off eBay. The only front mag wheel I find for the VN900 are from places like RC Components and it's too spendy for me right now. ;D
