Had the bike for awhile now and want to remove the badge on the gas tank. It appears to be a sticker but I'm not sure of the safest way to remove without scratching the tank or leaving an outline of the badge on the bike. Anyone ever done this or have any ideas?

Would that work with a sticker? I don't have a metal emblem that glues on, I have a sticker decal that is overlaid. Looks like it was placed on the bike than clear coated over it at the factory. I don't think you can just peel it off .
