Removing front cam change adjuster in 1600 vulcan 2003 fuel injection.

I've read everything on carb models but haven't found anything on fuel injected. Did the rear jug cam and all went well, though the muffler should have been removed. Anyway, the air intake is in the way and not sure if I should remove from the other side. Never fooled with the injectors. I remember a fellow named Chuck saying he cut the tube and used something to replace it. He was from my VN750 days. Thanks.

Dusterdude you’re my hero. I can’t for the life of me figure it out. Decided to go for air cleaner removal. Question is how do you remove the crossover tube? Someone said saws all. But how? Thanks
Cut it out, then you have to figure how to reinstall the new one.i cant see a way to do it with the heads on

Cut out the crossover and it was a piece of cake. Going with chuckster big air cleaner set up. Thanks
Sawzall is a pain but might be good for part of it. I used a hacksaw blade (longer) to cut it in half. Some use a heat gun and I've also seen a cable saw recommended which is probably easier than the hacksaw.
Spoke with Chuckster he said if the tank is removed it will lift out. Thought I'd try that before spending more money as I'm selling it. Found it used for $20.
Wish i knew that before i cut mine up.damn
